PORT FELIX
- A funeral service was held at St. Joseph's Church for John E. Cashin,
who died in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, antigonish on May 1, after
a long illness. Rev. H.J. MacNeil officiated.
Born in Port Felix, he was the son of the late Patrick Cashin.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Church.
Mr. Cashin is survived by his wife, the former Annie
Celina Boudreau of Port Felix; four sons, Howard
Patrick, Tracadie; Harry Thomas, Dartmouth;
Francis Emmett and John
Edward, Port Felix; two daughters, Cecelia C. (Mrs. Walter V.
Dort), Chicopee Falls, Mass.; and Mrs. Eleanor M. Dort, Lynn, Mass.;
two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Hannifin, Erinville; and Mrs. John Kiley,
Antigonish; 25 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas W. and Robert Emmett. |
