ABRAHAM A. GERRIOR

Born 1904 in Charlos Cove, Abraham was the son of Abraham Gerrior and Martha Lavandier.
He married Julia Jane Pellrine of Larry's River in 1929, and they had six children.

Abraham A. Gerrior served in THE MERCHANT MARINES on the R.M.S. Lady Hawkins during 1940's, W.W.2

The Lady Hawkins was torpedoed on January 19, 1942, (full story) with the loss of 250 lives. Luckily for Abraham, that he was was off duty on that particular trip, otherwise he would have been lost, and a few of his children would not be here today.
Abraham passed away on August 29, 1985 and is buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Charlos Cove
