CHARLES COVE - Abraham A. Gerrior, 81, of Charles Cove, Guysborough County, who died Aug. 29 in Dartmouth General Hospital, was buried Sunday in St. Joseph's Church Cemetery, Charles Cove. Rev. Gary McPherson officiated at the funeral mass.
Born in Charles Cove, he was a son of the late Abraham and Martha (Levangie) Gerrior.
He is survived by five daughters, Louise (Mrs. Charles Hicken), Jean (Mrs. Ron Borland) and Leona (Mrs. John Markey), all of Dartmouth; Helena (Mrs. Harold McIsaac) and Judy (Mrs. James Doiron), both of Charles Cove; two brothers, James, Dartmouth; Thomas, Halifax; two sisters, Elizabeth Pellerine, Charles Cove; Josie Delaney, Halifax; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Julia Jane Pellerine; two sisters, Mary and Tossie Mae; a grandson; two great-grandchildren. Donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart Foundation.
