PELLERINE, Ronald Stephen
PELLERINE, Ronald Stephen - 73, Halifax, died January 19, 2005, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Larry's River, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late Leo and Victoria (Richard) Pellerine. He worked for 40 years as a Civil Servant at DND. In 1981 he became a member of The Newfoundland Club. He was a member of St. Catherine's for many years where he was an usher and also 50 years at St. Pat's parish bingo. He enjoyed darts, dancing and Christmas Eves spent with his family. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, the former Margaret Jean O'Leary; daughters, Christine Currie, Halifax; Darlene (Richard) Webster, Lower Sackville; Debbie (Danny) Leadley, Lower Sackville; sons, Stephen (Marilyn), Bruce (Debbie), Doug, Wayne (Doreen), all of Halifax; brother, Arthur, Lawrencetown; sisters, Rita MacDonald, Brockville, Ont.; Lillian MacDonald, Dartmouth; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, William. Family flowers only please. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd, Halifax. Funeral mass 11 a.m. Saturday, January 22, in St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Bayers Road, Halifax, Father Ken Robertson officiating. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Reception to follow in the funeral home. Donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, Atlantic Division
