PELRINE, Mary Elizabeth "Mamie" - 91, Halifax, passed away peacefully September 19, 2004, at home, surrounded by her family. Born in Halifax, July 27, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (George) King. She was one of the founding members of the Basinview Seniors' Club. Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed playing cards, quilting, knitting, and bingo. She enjoyed life, her family, and her friends. She will be sadly missed by daughters, Bernadette (Lewis) Griswold, Halifax; Camille "Millie" (Joseph) LeBlanc, Halifax; grandchildren, Andrea (Richard) Griswold-Cooper, Dartmouth; Joseph (Phyllis) LeBlanc, Calgary, Alta.; great-grandsons, Nicholas, Matthew and Michael LeBlanc. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; daughter, Elizabeth Ann in infancy; sisters, Charlotte Casey and Venita Power. Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Funeral mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Father Robert Floyd officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Family flowers only. Donations may be made in Mary's memory to Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
