BOND, Margaret Elizabeth - 89, Upper Tantallon and formerly of Port Felix, Guysborough Co., passed away Monday, August 9, 2004, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Port Felix, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Martha (Richard) DeCoste. Elizabeth spent the last 15 months in the loving care of her granddaughter, Heather (Jason). She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Port Felix. She loved to cook, sew, knit and spend time with family and friends. She will be sadly missed and always remembered. She is survived by son, Ronald (Shirley), Canso; daughters, Kay (Doug) Samson, Betty (Wayne) Ehler, both of White Head; Louise (Pat) Casey, Port Felix; grandchildren, Heather (Jason), Upper Tantallon; Carmen (Denise), Joann (Steve), Shelly (Dave) and Trina, all of Halifax; sister, Agnes Wamback, Fairview; sister-in-law, Veronica Boudreau, Halifax; expected first great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Alonzo; brothers, Joseph, Clement and Sylvester; sisters, Mary Marr, Helen Bellefontaine and Beatrice Emmons. Visitation will take place 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today with funeral mass Thursday at 11 a.m., both in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Port Felix, Father Daniel Boudreau officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Building Fund or QEII Foundation. All floral tributes welcome.
