MURDOCK BURTON MUNROE

MUNROE, Murdock Burton - 65, Whitehead, Guysborough Co., died September 19, 1995, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born at Yankee Harbour, Guysborough Co., he was a son of Leona Sophia (Peitzsch) Munroe, Whitehead and the late Albert Munroe. He was a retired commercial fisherman and member of Grace United Church, Whitehead. Surviving are his wife, the former Stella King, Halifax; sons, Howard, Warren, Whitehead; daughters, Margaret (Mrs. William Sampson), Little Dover; Glenda Munroe, New Glasgow; three grandchildren; brothers, Calvin, Morley, Whitehead; Edward, Eric, Colin, Howard, Halifax; Cyril, Mississauga, Ont.; sisters, Margaret Lohnes, Norma (Mrs. George Clarke), Halifax. He was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence. Funeral 3 p.m. today in Grace United Church, Whitehead, Rev. Bill Ford officiating. Burial in Grace United Cemetery. Donations to Grace United Church or Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Arrangements under the direction of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
