WILSON JOSEPH PELRINE

PELRINE, Wilson Joseph - 78, Hantsport, died March 3, 1998, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born at Larrys River, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late Bernard and Margaret (Avery) Pelrine. He was a veteran of the Second World War and served overseas with the 14th Canadian Field Regiment, taking part in the landing at Normandy. He was a welder at Minas Basin Pulp and Power for 28 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Lucknow Branch 109. Surviving are his wife, the former Beatrice Bessie Faulkner. He was predeceased by brothers, Alexander, David, Paul, Walter; sister, Mary Little. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today, legion memorial service 7 p.m. today, both in Lohnes Funeral Home, Windsor. Funeral 1:30 p.m. Friday in Hantsport United Baptist Church in Hantsport, Rev. David Shaw officiating. Burial in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport. Donations to Parkinson's Foundation of Canada, Nova Scotia Division.
