GERALD SIMON PELLERIN

PELLERIN, Gerald Simon - 80, Larry's River, Guysborough County, died March 2, 1993, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Larry's River, he was a son of the late Vital and Mary (Pettipas) Pellerin. He was a member of St. Peter's Parish, Larry's River. He was a retired labourer, having lived and worked in Cambridge, Mass. for 40 years. He retired in 1974 and returned to Larry's River in 1992. He is survived by four sisters, Clara (Mrs. Alphonse Pellerin), Larry's River; Hattie (Mrs. Gerald McTiernan), Dartmouth; Louise (Mrs. William Richard), Charlos Cove; Cecile (Mrs. Clarence Barrett), Halifax; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Mary Manette; three brothers, Joseph, Jerome, Eugene; two sisters, Lena Wells, Jeanette Richard. The body is in St. Peter's Church, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 4 p.m. Thursday, Rev. James Atwood officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Peter's Church Cemetery Fund. Arrangements under the direction of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
