CLARA ANGELINE PELLERIN

PELLERIN, Clara Angeline - 86, Larry's River, Guysborough County, died October 2, 1993, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Larry's River, she was a daughter of the late Vital and Mary Barbara (Pettipas) Pellerin. A former school teacher, she graduated from Truro Normal College in 1925 and taught in Larry's River, Port Felix and Lundy. She was a member of St. Peter's Parish, Larry's River; past president of Larry's River Home and School Association and member of the board of directors of Larry's River Credit Union. She is survived by three sons, Donald, Larry's River; Edward, Montreal; Sylvester, Halifax; three daughters, Barbara (Mrs. Kenneth Fowlie), Dartmouth; Eileen (Mrs. John Power), St. John's, Nfld.; Lorraine (Mrs. William Black), Halifax; three sisters, Harriet McTeirman, Dartmouth; Louise (Mrs. William A. Richard), Charlos Cove; Cecilia Barrett, Halifax; 13 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Alphonse; son, Ulysse; four brothers, Joseph, Jerome, Gerald, Eugene; two sisters, Lena Wells, Jeanette Richard. Visitation will be prior to funeral at 4 p.m. today in St. Peter's Church, Rev. Gerald Campbell officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery under the direction of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
