WALTER JOHN PELLERINE

PELLERINE, Walter John - 85, Port Felix, Guysborough Co., died Monday, October 9, 2000, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Port Felix, he was a son of the late Jeffrey and Minnie (Bond) Pellerine. He was a fisherman and labourer and in earlier years he worked at Broady's Lobster Factory in Pictou. He is survived by daughters, Christine DeYoung, Port Felix; Lena Pellerine, Larry's; brothers, Clayton, Cape Breton; Jimmy and Stanley, Halifax; sisters, Matilda Gaudet, Cape Breton; Jean Perry and Rita Dorrey, Halifax; granddaughter, Yvonne; grandson, Leo; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Irene; daughter, Rosemarie; brothers, Clarence, Laucie, Wallace; sister, Geneve O'Leary. Visitation will be today from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, both in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Port Felix, Rev. Danny Boudreau officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery, Port Felix. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to G. W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
