DENNIS S. LEVANDIER

 
Dennis Simon Levandier, 85, 2968 Connolly Street, Halifax and formerly of Port Felix, died Monday in Camp Hill Hospital.
Born in Port Felix, he was a son of the late Philip and Bridget (Gerrior) Levandier.
He was a veteran of both the First and Second World War, serving with the Canadian army. He was a member of Branch 1167, Royal Canadian Legion.
Surviving besides his wife, the former Nellie George, are three daughters, Viola (Mrs. Fred Duggan), and Virginia (Mrs. Eric Woodbury), both of Halifax and Berniece (Mrs. Donald Young), Kingston, Ont.; three sons, Donald and Douglas, both of Dartmouth and Earl, Shelburne; one brother, Albert, Shelburne; 26 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one son, Cyril, two sisters and one brother.
The body is at R.D. Lindsay Funeral Home, Bayers Road, Halifax.  Funeral will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Catherine's Church. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
