LEVANDIER, Nellie - 95, Halifax, died Tuesday in Halifax Civic Hospital.
Born in Halfway Cove, Guysborough County she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Richard) George. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Viola Duggan and Virginia (Mrs. Cedric Woodbury), both of Halifax; Bernice (Mrs. Donald Young), Kingston, Ont.; two sons, Douglas, Dartmouth; Earl, Sackville; 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Denis; two sisters; three brothers; two sons, Cyril and Donald. The body is in Atlantic Funeral Home, Halifax. Visiting 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Catherine's Church, Halifax, Rev. Gerald David officiating. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses or any charity.
