PITTS - RICHARD

St. Peter's Church, Larry's River was the scene of a very pretty wedding on the morning of July 27 at 8 o'clock when Rev. C. Forest, P.P., united in marriage Annie Richard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Richard and Elden Pitts, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Pitts, both of Charlos Cove. During the nuptial mass, hymns were nicely sung by the choir and the wedding march was equally rendered by Mrs. John Murphy.
The bride becomingly attired in white, carrying a white prayer book, was attended by her sister Christine, who wore pink with white accessories, while the groom was supported by his nephew, Fordie Pitts.
After a wedding breakfast served at the home of the groom, the bridal party left on a short motor tour, stopping at Antigonish where a dainty luncheon had been prepared for them.
Returning in the evening they were greeted with a reception held at the home of the bride's parents which a large number attended.
The happy couple received the best wishes of their many friends and the collection of wedding gifts was large and beautiful.
