WEDDING

FITTZ - PELRINE

 
  A wedding of much interest took place Thursday, July 27th, when Catherine Pelrine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. L. Pelrine, became the bride of Sylvester Fittz, son of Mr. Dan Fittz and the late Mrs. Fittz of Stellarton. Rev. C.J. Forest P.P. performed the ceremony. Suitable hyms were played during the mass. The bride was attired in pale pink with accessories in white also carried a prayer book. She was attended by her sister Beatrice who wore pale green with white accessories to match, Clarence Pelrine, brother of the bride acted as the best man. The groom's gift to the bride was a gold wrist watch. A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride with a large number attending. They were the recipients of many useful gifts. Among the out-of-town guests present were Dan Fittz, Miss J. Fittz, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Fittz, Mrs. Joe Breen, and daughter Ann, T. Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Frost, all of Stellarton and New Glasgow. The happy couple motored to New Glasgow the following day where they will reside.
