The records span the time period of 1853-1879 and 1884-1889.
There was a gap from 1879 - 1884 where nothing for the parish was recorded,
or has been since lost. During this time period none of the marriages were registered with the county either. In fact the gap in the civil registration stretches int the 1890's.
These contain Catholic marriage records that were hand-copied from the original records at some point in time.

This leaves double the room for error, from the original copier, and from me reading the handwriting.

I have already found one discrepancy from records at the NS Archives and these. All the information was the same but there are two different marriage dates.
There are names appearing in these records from Larry's River, Charlos Cove, Port Felix, White Head, Tracadie, Canso, and more. There are also a few converts form other religions, and a few Mi'qMaq.

Remember to look for every conceivable spelling for the name your are searching. As tempting as it was I have not fixed any spellings.

Also if you are looking for an Irish name such as O'Neil or O'Leary, also check under Neil and Leary.
There are a few that stumped me completely.
