MacDONALD, Clara Bernadette - 85, Larry's River, Guysborough Co., died
Wednesday, November 17, 2004, at home. Born in Larry's River, she was
a daughter of the late Alfred and Vennie (Benoit) Pettipas. She was
a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church. A beloved mother, grandmother,
great-grandmother and aunt, she was a homemaker who loved cooking, baking
and playing cards. She is survived by husband, Roy B. MacDonald, Larry's
River; sons, Roy A., Houston, B.C.; Von (Kathy), Oshawa, Ont.; Douglas
(Helen), Truro; daughter, Bernice McKilligan, Houston, B.C.; brothers,
Arthur (Shirley) Pettipas, Halifax; Tommy (Marg) Pitts, Antigonish;
sister, Mary (Arnold) Decoste, Antigonish; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren;
32 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, John, Bennie;
sisters, Annie, Kay, Charlotte and Margaret. Visitation will be held
Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Communities Along the Bay Multi-use
Facility Community Room, 6202 Highway 316, Larry's River. Funeral mass
will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church,
Larry's River, Father Will MacPherson officiating. Burial at a later
date. Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter's Cemetery Fund or
a charity of choice. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and
compassionate care of G.W. Giffin Funeral Homes Ltd., Country Harbour.
