JANET CATHERINE GEORGE

Janet Catherine George
There passed away at her home At Upper White Head, Guysboro Co., Janet Catherine George, widow of Ephraim George, at the age of 83 years. She had been in poor health for several years. The late Mrs. George spent her entire life at her home in Peas Brook, until a few years ago, she went to live with her niece, Mrs. D.S. George. Her husband predeceased her 26 years ago.
She leaves two sisters, Robert Emler [sic s/b Ehler], Peas Brook; Mrs. John Williams, Queensport; one brother, Robert Jamieson, of New Glasgow, two nieces she adopted at the death of their parents, now Mrs. Harold MacKenzie, of Truro, and Mrs. Dan S. George of Upper White Head.
Burial was at St. James cemetery, Halfway Cove. Services were conducted
by Rev. J. Abbott.
