MacMILLAN, Winnie Elizabeth - 92, Glen Haven Manor, formerly of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2004, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Upper White Head, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late Abraham and Annie (Grover) George. She was a member of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church and a former member of the Altar Society. She is survived by daughters, Janet Ann (Kevin) Ranger, Rothesay, N.B.; Elizabeth "Betty" (Ray) Gablonski, Queensland, Australia; sons, John (Edith), Port Howe, NS; Hugh (Becky), Fox Trap, NL; James, Gravenhurst, Ont.; Edward (Sandra), Trenton; Ronald (Marlyn), Belleville, Ont.; Paul (Rita), Mississauga, Ont.; Francis (Shirley), Trenton; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Janette Vickieola, Toronto, Ont.; Adelene, Truro; brothers, Ira (Ethel), Abe (Edie), both of White Head, Guysborough Co.; Paul (Trix), Queensport; Phil, Antigonish. She was predeceased by husband, Anthony "Mully"; daughter, Mary Claire; granddaughter, Karla MacMillan; sisters, Velma, Juanita; brothers, Harvey, Edward, Percy; half-brothers, Allan, Seymour. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church with Father Robert Day officiating. Burial in Christ the King Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Glen Haven Manor Bus Fund.
