EDITH MAE DURLING

DURLING, Edith Mae - 91, Dartmouth, died August 14, 2003, in Ocean View Manor. Born in Cole Harbour, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late Capt. Leander and Mary (Hull) Tanner. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Dartmouth and active with the Women's Missionary Society. In earlier years, in Halifax, she was active with St. John Ambulance and Westmount Home and School Association. She is survived by son, William, Calgary, Alta.; daughter, Anne (Mrs. Bernard Bordeleau), Lorraine, Que.; four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Burpee; sisters, Olivia (Mrs. Gregory Hadley), Alice (Mrs. Falcon Duncan), and Edna (in infancy); brother, Leslie. Visitation will be from 12 noon-2 p.m. Wednesday, followed by funeral service, both in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Dartmouth. Burial will follow in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
