Mrs. Agnes Martin
Sydney -- Mrs. Agnes Martin, 70, 125 Moxham Drive, Sydney, died Wednesday
at St. Rita Hospital, Sydney. Born in Larry's River, Guysborough County,
she was the daughter of Allen and Elizabeth (Pellerin)
Gerrior. She was a member of St. Anthony Daniel Parish, Sydney and a
member of Club 55 senior Citizens. She was survived by five daughters,
Ann (Mrs. John Hirch), British Columbia; Mary (Mrs. Donald Cochrane),
Lena (Mrs. Adam Fellener), and Helen (Mrs. Merwyn Jennings), all of
Kitchener, Ont.; and Rosalee (Mrs. John McGuigan), Sydney; four sons,
Michael, Kitchener, Ont.; Leo, William and Peter, all of Sydney; two
sisters, Mary (Mrs. Arthur Babin), Collingwood, Ont.; and Geneva
(Mrs. John Nardocchio), Sydney; two brothers, Francis and Joseph, both
of Collingwood, Ont.; 36 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Ernest;
two infant sons, and two brothers, Jerome and Leo. The body is at Sydney
Memorial Chapel. Funeral mass will be at St. Anthony Daniel Parish Saturday
at 11 a. m. Rev. Angus MacLeod officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection
cemetery, Sydney Forks.
