MARY EVANGELINE KING

Mrs. Gerald King, 63, 50 Fenwood Rd., Halifax, died Saturday at home. Born in Port Felix, Guysborough County, she was the former Mary Evangeline DeLorey, a daughter of the late Hector and Alice (Levangie) Delorey. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion, Scotia branch. She is survived by her husband, Gerald; four sons, Wayne, Birchey Head, Luneneburg County; Victor, Terry and Michael all of Halifax; four daughters, Shirely (Mrs. Raymond Burke), Sackville; Merle (Mrs. Donald Pettipas), Canso; Beverly and Mary, both of Halifax; three brothers, Alfred, Larry's River; Albert, Lakside; Frank, Saint John; a sister, Kay (Mrs. Bert Outerbridge), Ketch Harbour; 11 grandchildren; a great granddaughter. She was predeceased by a sister, Marie. The body is in J. Albert Walker Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Father Eric Theriault and Father Gerald David officiating. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Interment will be in Gate of Heaven cemetery.
