Mrs. Peter J. Marr
Mrs. Peter J. Marr, 83, of RR1, Windsor Junction, died Thursday in Halifax Infirmary. Born in Port Felix, Guysborough County, she was the former Johanna LeBlanc, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (King) LeBlanc. Surviving are a son Peter, Windsor Junction; three daughters, Deltina (Mrs. Lawrence Pelrine), Kearney Lake Road; Lillian (Mrs. Joseph Pelrine), Sydney; Geraldine (Mrs. Gerald Levangie), Spryfield; an adopted daughter, Veneeta (Mrs. John Charlton), Dartmouth; two brothers, William, Halifax; Fred, Sheet Harbour; two sisters, Charlotte (Mrs. William Bond), Mrs. Genevieve McGrory, both of Port Felix; 15 granchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, a daughter, Mildred, a brother, Charles, and a sister, Agnes. The body is at R.D. Lindsay Funeral Home, Bedford. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. mass in St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Windsor Junction, Rev. F.J. Melanson officiating. Burial in Gate of Heaven cemetery, Lower Sackville.
