| BOND, Stella Mae - 83, Canso, died Janaury 7, 1995, at home. Born in Whitehead, she was a daughter of the late Norman M. and Mary (Rhynold) Rhynold. She was a member of the Star of the Sea Parish; Shamrock Club senior citizens and a former member of the CWL. Surviving are daughters, Eleanor (Nellie) (Mrs. Archie Lewis), Glace Bay; Florence (Mrs. John Ryan), Margie Ward, Canso; Catherine (Mrs. Eugene Hemeon), Dartmouth; Anita (Mrs. John Gavin), Cape George; Marie (Mrs. Leo King), Evanston; sons, John (Jack), Walter, Canso; David, Sydney: brothers, John, Edward, Whitehead; Angus, Country Harbour; 35 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John F.; son, Charles; daughters, Elizabeth, Jean. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Star of the Sea Church, Canso, Rev. Paul MacNeil officiating. Burial in parish cemetery under the direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Donations to Star of the Sea Parish or Canadian Cancer Society. | |
