LILLIAN JEANETTA LAIRD

LAIRD, Lillian Jeannetta - 91, Tatamagouche, died Saturday, February 16, 2002, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Cole Harbour, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late William and Vinnie (Lumsden) Uloth. She was a cook in the woods and a bookkeeper for John Doyle for many years. She was a member of St. George's Anglican Church, Pugwash. She is survived by son, John (Darlene), Tatamagouche; four grandchildren and one step-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey; brothers, Percy, Gerald, William; sister, Flossie. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today in MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, in St. John's Anglican Church, River John, Rev. Bruce Ward officiating. Spring burial in Fox Harbour United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fox Harbour Cemetery.
