CECIL BAKER MUNROE

MUNROE, Cecil Baker - 70, West Petpeswick, died July 9, 1994, in Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. Born November 11, 1923 in Cole Harbour, Guysborough County, he was a son the late Otto and Gladys (Rhynold) Munroe. He was employed in the trucking industry of the Musquodoboit Harbour area for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Joan Young, Dartmouth; son, Robert, Musquodoboit Harbour; two daughters, Mary Ridgley, Hammonds Plains; Nancy Harding, Summerville; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Rita Fleet, Ecum Secum; companion, Glenna Young, Chezzetcook. He was predeceased by a son, Franklyn. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. tonight, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday in Rowlings Funeral Home, Musquodoboit Harbour, where funeral will follow at 2 p.m., Rev. Pam Bishop officiating. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
