IDA ALICE BURKE

BURKE, Ida Alice - 99, Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough, formerly of Drum Head, Guysborough County, died October 17, 1993, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Cole Harbour, Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late Reuben and Barbara (Dort) Uloth. She is survived by two daughters, Ruby (Mrs. Lorne Cooke), Bedford; Ruth (Mrs. Stephen MacDonald), Lake Echo; 12 grandchildren; 26 greatgrandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Walter Uloth; second husband, George Burke; son, Roscoe Uloth; daughter Reta MacDonald; two sisters, Hattie Uloth, one in infancy; a grandson. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Seal Harbour United Baptist Church, Rev. Bob Mather-Dyer officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Seal Harbour. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Seal Harbour United Baptist Church or Hillside Cemetery Fund. Arrangements under the direction of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
