COVERT ALONZO GAMMON

GAMMON, Covert Alonzo - 85, Torbay, Guysborough Co., died September 23, 1995, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Torbay, he was a son of the late William Thomas and Ella (Jamieson) Gammon. He was a retired fisherman and labourer. Surviving are his wife, the former Ruby Myers; son, Donald and daughter-in-law Pauline, Torbay; daughter, Loretta and son-in-law Ernie MacMillan, Isaacs Harbour; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Geneva and brotherin-law Borden Grover, Torbay. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday, both in New Harbour United Church, New Harbour, Rev. Bill Ford officiating. Burial in Torbay Community Cemetery. Donations to Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Arrangements under the direction of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
