JAMES WILLIAM GAMMMON

EUREKA - JAMES WILLIAM GAMMON, 60, of Eureka, died Friday in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Torbay, Guys.Co., he was a son of the late Henry and Violet (Gammom) Gammon. He was employed at MacGregor Bedding Ltd., New Glasgow and was a resident of New Waterford before moving to Eureka nine years ago. He was a member of the United Church. Surviving is a daughter, Emily(Mrs. Henry Bezanson), Eureks; 2 stepdaughters, Nellie (Mrs. Sandy Cyr), Westville, and Clara (Mrs. Reid McCormick), Salisbury,N.B.; 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. William Snyder), Half Bay Cove; and Blanche, Truro; 2 brothers, George, Middle River, and Harold, Wyes Corner, Colchester County. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Ruth Mason; a daughter, a son and a brother. The remains are resting at the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, where funeral will be held 2:30pm. Sunday. Internment will be in Riverton Cemetery.
