PELLERIN, Stephen Remi - 71, Larry's River, Guysborough Co., died Saturday, May 11, 2002, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Larry's River, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Mary Alice (Avery) Pellerin. Remi enjoyed the outdoors, especially flowers, gardens and rabbit snaring. He loved to watch television and always found pleasure in being around children. He is survived by brothers, Wallace, Angus, both of Larry's River; Elmer, Castlegar, B.C.; sisters, Garnet (Mrs. Joe Avery), Larry's River; Kay (Mrs. Martin MacNamara), Evanston, Cape Breton; Anne (Mrs. George MacNamara), Hanwell, N.B.; aunts, Josephine Richard, Halifax; Nancy Bouchie, North Bay, Ont.; Sadie Avery, Pictou; Geneva Avery, Guysborough; uncle, Peter Avery, Larry's River; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Joseph Richie Pellerin. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today and funeral mass will be held 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, both in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Larry's River, Father Will MacPherson officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Peter's Parish Fund or Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to G.W. Funeral services for the late Stephen Remi Pellerin, 71, Larry’s River, Guysborough County, were held May 14 in St. Peter’s Church, Larry’s River, with Father Will MacPherson officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Mr. Pellerin died May 11, 2002, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Larry’s River, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Mary Alice (Avery) Pellerin. He enjoyed watching television, being around children and the outd oors, especially flowers, gardens and snaring rabbits. He is survived by three brothers, Wallace, Angus, both of Larry’s River; Elmer, Castlegar, British Columbia; three sisters, Garnet (Joe) Avery, Larry’s River; Kay (Martin) MacNamara, Evanston, Cape Breton; Anne (George) MacNamara, Hanwell, New Brunswick; four aunts, Josephine Richard, Halifax; Nancy Bouchie, North Bay, Ontario; Sadie Avery, Pictou; Geneva Avery, Guysborough; uncle, Peter Avery, Larry’s River; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Joseph Richie Pellerin.
