CASHEN, Alexander (Alex) - 93, Halifax, died June 12, 1998, in Northwood Centre. Born in Port Felix, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late Stephen and Angela (Lavandier) Cashen. Surviving are daughter, Stella (Mrs. Alban Hebert), Ashby, Mass.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother, John. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service 9 a.m. Friday in St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, Bayers Road, Halifax, Rev. Raymond March officiating. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to any charity. Arrangements entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home.
