WILBERT JOSIAH "WEBB" HAYMAN

HAYMAN, Wilbert Josiah (Webb) - 85, 51 Green St., New Glasgow, died June 1, 1995, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born at Sand Point, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late Wilbert and Mary (Perry) Hayman. He attended schools in New Glasgow and retired from CNR in 1974 after 32 years of service. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow and was an avid sports fisherman. Surviving are his son, Berk, Thorburn; sisters, Memie Van Larken, Stellarton; Gladys Reynolds, Valley View Villa; Minnie Mintren, Prince Edward Island; brother, Bill Logan, Harrietsfield, Halifax Co.; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Gladys Fougere; sisters, Sadie Chisholm, Margaret Smith, Hannah MacIntosh; brothers, Henry, Art; daughter-in-law, Peggy (Dort) Hayman. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, St. John the Baptist CWL to meet 2:15 p.m. today for prayers, both in P&K MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow, Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating, assisted by Rev. John Barry. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to St. John the Baptist cemetery fund or Recovery House, Antigonish.
