CATHERINE MARIE "KAY" FITT

FITT, CATHERINE MARIE (KAY) - 79, 28 Marie St., Lourdes, Stellarton, died March 15, 1997, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Larrys River, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Pellerine) Pellerine. She had been a resident of Stellarton for the past 53 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are daughters, Marie (Mrs. Allister Vacheresse), Stellarton; Evelina Dean, New Glasgow; chosen daughter, Kathy (Mrs. Wayne Otter), Trenton; sons, Cyril, Francis, Stellarton; 24 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Sylvester; son, Clarence; sisters, Beatrice Crispo, Margaret Munro, Edna and Elsie Pellerine, brothers, Clarence, Nick, Eldon. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home. Funeral 10 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton, Rev. Charles Cameron officiating. Burial in parish cemetery. Donations to Aberdeen Hospital, palliative care unit.
