ELSIE FRANCES MUNROE

MUNROE, Mrs Elsie Frances - widow of Howard Munroe, of Halifax, passed away at the V G Hospital at the age of 90. Her remains are at the R D Lindsay Funeral Home, Bayers Rd, Halifax, where a private family service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 am. Rev Samuel Miller officiating. Interment will be held in Whitehead, Guys Co, in the Spring.

Mrs. Howard S Munroe
Mrs. Howard S. Munroe, 90, of Halifax, died Saturday in Victoria General Hospital. Born at Burgeo, Nfld., she was the former Elsie Frances Dicks, daughter of the late Phillip and Mathilda Jane (Bowdridge) Dicks. She was a school teacher in Newfoundland and was a former employee of the Victoria General Hospital. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Veronica Walls, Swampscott, Mass.; Winetta (Mrs. Filleul), and Mrs. Isabel Prosser, both of Harrietsfield. She was predeceased by her husband, three sisters, Minnie, Mabel and Agnes; four brothers, George, Bruce, Harry and Frederick. The body is at R.D. Lindsay Funeral Home, Bayers Road, where funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Samuel Miller officiating. Spring burial will be at Whitehead, Guysborough County.
