AVERY, Anne Burnetta - 86, formerly of 346 Brother St., New Glasgow, died June 12, 1995, in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born April 2, 1909 in Port Felix, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Charlotte (DeCoste) Cox. She was a member of St. Gregory's Roman Catholic Church. Surviving are daughters, Hazel (Mrs. John Hughes), Plymouth; Helen (Mrs. Kenneth Guthro), Walkerville; sons, Cecil, New Glasgow; Joseph, Trenton; John, Truro; brother, Stanley, New Glasgow; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William (Bill); daughters, Mary (Dolly) Arthur, Isabel, Mary; sister, Jane; brothers, Enos, John, Levi. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Gregory's Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Bernard MacAdam officiating. Burial in Priestville Cemetery. Donations to any charity.
