RICHARD, Gerald Joseph - 69, R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish, formerly of Larry's River, Guysborough Co., died April 6, 1999, in the home. Born in Charlos Cove, Guysborough Co., he was a son of Samuel and Elizabeth (Richard) Richard. He was a pipefitter and a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Larrys River, where he was formerly a hospitality minister. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, the former Elizabeth "Betty" Pellerin; brothers, David, Martin, London, Ont.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Raymond, Vessie; sisters, Agatha, Helen, Harriet. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 4 p.m. Friday, all in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Larrys River, Rev. Neil McKenna officiating. Burial to follow in parish cemetery. Donations to St. Peter's Parish Fund, Friends of the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home or ALS Society of Canada, Regional Office.
