MARGARET LEONA FELTMATE


FELTMATE, Margaret Leona - 82, Bayfield, Antigonish Co., formerly of White Head, Guysborough Co., died June 5, 1997, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in White Head, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Frances V. (Jamieson) Grover. She was a member of St. Mary's Anglican Church, Bayfield. She was a homemaker all of her life. Surviving are daughters, Marion Smith, Anita (Mrs. Douglas Clyburn), Trenton; Lois (Mrs. Cyril Connors), Springville, Pictou Co.; Leah MacIsaac, Bayfield; Leata Pellerin, Isaacs Harbour; Gladys Fanning, Goldboro; sons, Ross, Brad, at home; sisters, Leata Fraser, Trenton; Helen Boyles, New Glasgow; brothers, Harold, James, White Head; Borden, New Glasgow; 38 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ross G.; three sons in infancy; grandsons, Sydney, Ronald, William and Stephen Smith, Andy MacNeil; great-granddaughter, Darlene Davis. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today and Saturday in Curry's Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish. Funeral 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Mary's Anglican Church, Bayfield, Rev. Mark Kingsbury officiating. Burial to follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, White Head. Donations to any charity.
