PITTS, Robert Leo Sr. - 77, Three Brooks, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 4, 1996. Born at Larrys River, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late David Walter and Margaret (Gerrior) Pettipas. He spent 42 years as an employee of Ferguson Industries Ltd., Pictou. He is survived by his close companion, Frances Falconer; his son, Robert Leo Jr. and wife Helen, Oakville, Ont.; daughters, Margaret Ann (Mrs. Brad Pellerin), Larrys River; Charlotte and Mary (Mrs. Trueman Bowen), both of Pictou; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Lottie MacTague, Three Brooks; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Margaret Bonvie; brother, Jack. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in Stella Maris Church, Pictou, Rev. Peter MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery.
