SADIE PETTIPAS

PETTIPAS, Sadie - Tracadie, died June 17, 1995, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born at Larrys River, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late Walter and Rose (Pellerin) Fougere. She was a resident of Tracadie all of her married life and a member of St. Peter's Parish. During the 1960s, she worked as a pastry cook at The Lobster Trap in Tracadie and later at The Goshen Restaurant, Lower South River. Surviving are daughters, Beverly Chisholm, Anna Marie (Mrs. Wilfred Melanson), Dolly, Tracadie; Sandra (Mrs. Robert Perro), Winnipeg; son, Glen, Tracadie; brother, Thomas, Larrys River; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer; sisters, Gladys Hayman, Margaret Logan, two in infancy; granddaughter, Giselle Melanson; son-in-law, William W. Chisholm. Visitation 2-4, 7-10 p.m. today and Tuesday in St. Peter's Place, Tracadie. Funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Church, Tracadie, Rev. Kyte Gillis officiating. Burial in parish cemetery. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Diabetes Association. Arrangements under the direction of MacIsaac Funeral Home, Antigonish.
