EDWARD CLEMENT GEORGE

 

EDWARD CLEMENT GEORGE, 49, of Upper Whitehead, Guysborough Co., who died Sept 25, was buried in Queensport Anglican Cemetery. Born in Upper Whitehead, he was the son of the late Abraham and Annie (Grover) George. Mr. George was a fisherman throughout his adult life, except for several years service with the merchant marine. He is survived by four sisters, Winnie (Mrs. Anthony MacMillan), Trenton, N.S.; Mrs. Velma Trottier, Halifax; Mrs. Jeannette Vecchiola, Toronto; and Adeline (Mrs. Fred Osborne), Brookfield, N.S.; five brothers, Percy, Ira and Abe, all of Upper Whitehead; and Paul and Phillip, both of Toronto; two half-brothers, Allan George, Port Felix, N.S.; and Seymour Meeds, Queensport, N.S. Funeral services were held in Christ Church, Queensport.
