GERVAIS BELLEFONTAINE

 

BELLEFONTAINE, Gervais - 70, Spryfield, died April 19, 1995, in the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Port Felix, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Munroe) Bellefontaine. He was a veteran of the Second World War and served in the merchant marines. He worked for Foundation Maritime for a number of years. Surviving are his wife, the former Emily Munroe; daughters, Anna Marie (Mrs. Brad Oickle), Shearwater; Linda (Mrs. Michael Fragman), Montreal; stepdaughter, Bonnie Wagner, Halifax; son, David, Dartmouth; sisters, Tina Bouchie, Sackville; Mary AuCoin, Halifax; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson. He was predeceased by brothers, Cecil, Barney, Joseph. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 10 a.m. Friday, both in Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home, 2032 Robie St., Deacon Bill McGinnis officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
