WILLIAM AMOS RICHARD

RICHARD, William Amos - 78, Charlos Cove, Guysborough County, died May 17, 1994, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born at Charlos Cove, he was a son of the late William and Alice (Richard) Richard. He was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Charlos Cove; Royal Canadian Legion, Tor Bay Branch 117, Charlos Cove; veteran of the Second World War and a retired carpenter, working for 45 years with Maritime Packers, Caribou. He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Louise Pellerin; two sisters, Annie (Mrs. Eldon Pettipas), Charlos Cove; Christena (Mrs. William Haley), Bedford; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant brother. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. tonight, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Church, Charlos Cove, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Gerald Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital or St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
