CYRIL GEORGE PELLERIN

PELLERIN, Cyril George - 64, Halifax, died July 20, 1999, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Larrys River, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late Ernest and Clara (Gerrior) Pellerin. He was a member of St. Theresa's Parish for the past 36 years, and a member of St. Theresa's Ushers Association. He was self-employed and a member of the United Commercial Travelers. For many years he was a member of CFB Curling Club. His interests were golfing and fishing in Farm Lake. He loved sports and was an avid Montreal Canadiens and Boston Red Sox fan.
Surviving are his wife, Esther; daughter, Lisa, at home; sons, Michael, Halifax; Glenn (Colleen), Timberlea; grandsons, Matthew and Patrick; sisters, Claire Hagen, Leduc, Alta.; Dianne, Larrys River; brothers, Ralph (Shelagh), Middleton; Maurice (Bernice), Edmonton; Bradford (Margaret Ann), Larrys River; Gerald (Linda), Dartmouth; Earl, Larrys River; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Reginald in infancy. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, July 22, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Funeral mass 9 a.m. Friday, July 23, in St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, North Street, Halifax. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
