BRIGHT (Munroe), Mabel Winnifred - 58, Pickering, Ont., died June 17, 2000, in Ajax Pickering Health Centre. Born in Cole Harbour, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late William J. and Bessie (Ehler) Munroe. She was an employee of Volkswagen Canada, Scarborough and Ajax, Ont. for over 30 years. She is survived by sons, Peter (Diane), Oshawa, Ont.; Michael (Eileen), Pickering, Ont.; daughter, Jennifer (Kevin), Oshawa, Ont.; granddaughters, Amanda and Carlie; step-grandson, James; sisters, Ethel (Ira) George, Upper Whitehead; Anna (James) Sully, Oshawa, Ont.; brother, John Munroe, Georgetown, Ont.; her former husband, Neil Bright; many nieces, nephews and cousins, aunts and uncle. Funeral service was held in Ronald Martino and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Pickering, Ont., June 20. Memorial service will be held in St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church, Cole Harbour, Guysborough Co., on July 25, at 1 p.m., Rev. Ian Wissler officiating. Committal of ashes in church cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Bartholomew's Anglican c/o E.L. George, R.R. 2 Larry's River, N.S., or to charity of choice. |
