Born in Port Felix, he was a son of the late William and Suzanne (Marr) Cashin.
He is survived by five sons, Ernest, Upper Whitehead; Neil, Port Felix; Leonard, Charlos Cove; Ronald, Kentville;Ralph, in Ontario; a daughter, Patsy Mannette, Beaver Bank; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Leo, Halifax. He was predeceased by his wfe, the former Beatrice Smith; two daughters, Pat and Lenora; several brothers and sisters, a granddaughter.
