RAYMOND CHARLES DAVID

DAVID, Raymond Charles - 81, Port Felix, Guysborough County, died October 15, 1993, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Port Felix, he was a son of the late Martin and Rose (Richard) David. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Port Felix and served as a seaman with the Bedford Institute of Technology for over 20 years. During the Second World War, he served with the merchant marine. He is survived by an adopted daughter, Dorothy (Mrs. Elmo Cashin), Dartmouth; brother, William, Port Felix; three sisters, Elizabeth, Guysborough; Christina (Mrs. Vernon Hubley), Halifax; Evangeline (Mrs. Allan Whippie), Enfield. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Mildred Marr; two sisters, Genesta, Nellie Pace; brother, Fawn. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in St. Joseph's Church, Rev. Gerald Campbell officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery under the direction of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to St. Joseph's Parish building Fund or any charity.
