JOHN AVERY
| AVERY, John - 79, Larrys River, Guysborough Co., died December 13, 1997, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Larrys River, he was a son of the late Peter and Mary (Pellerine) Avery. He was a pulpwood cutter and carpenter for many years. He was a member of St. Peter's Church. Surviving are brothers, Calis, Port Hood; Robert, Larrys River; sisters, Anita (Mrs. William Askew), Helen (Mrs. Frank Fennessey), Halifax; Anna Richard, Massachusetts; Loretta Richard, Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Leonard, Daniel, Joseph; sisters, Margaret, Sabina. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday, both in St. Peter's Church, Larrys River, Rev. Barrett Clare-Johnson officiating. Burial in St. Peter's Cemetery, Larrys River. No flowers by family request. Donations to St. Peter's Church or St. Peter's Cemetery fund. Arrangements entrusted to G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour. |
