Fisherman Lands Small Swordfish
Cole Harbor, Guysboro Co., Aug 4 
The third boat to go east on a swordfishing trip this season was the Alice M. Pearl,
which left Wednesday, Spurgeon Myers, Allen Dort and Thomas Grover were onboard, George L. Munroe, a local fisherman captured a small swordfish off her Friday. This was the first to be taken here this season and brought eight cents a pound at Canso.
