PORT FELIX

 

Port Felix, April 21 - Holiday visitors from Halifax were Thomas David, Earl Levandier, Ernest Cashin, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Pelrine, Wallace Pelrine, Mathilda Pelrine, Mr. Gaudet, Charles LeBlanc and his son Maurice, Placide Boudreau, Gordon Tibbo, Denis King, Mrs. Elsie Woodroffe, Mrs. Mahoney and her son; from Mulgrave, Walthen and Neilus Cashin; from Sydney, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Pelrine and children, Judy and Kenny; from Goose Bay, Labrador, Margaret and Marie King. Other visitors from Halifax were Denis Casey, Mrs. Charlie Pelrine, Mrs. Nick Power and Mrs. Gilfoy.

Sorry to report Mr. and Mrs. Joe F. King on the sick list.

Mrs. Don Howard and children are staying indefinitely with Mr. and Mrs. Joe F. King, her grandparents.

Twin calves have been born to a cow belonging to Mrs. Lucy David.

Peter Marr, Jr. of the R.C.A.F. of Greenwood, N.S., is home on leave.

Visitors from Half Island Cove, were Mr. and Mrs. Manford Hendsbee and two girls, Freida and Nada, guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Remi Zelrine [sic]. note: Zelrine should be Pelrine
